Eastern KY University student parents have several on campus and off campus housing opitons.

The Eastern Scholar House is an on campus housing program for low income single parents. The housing program is owned and operated by Kentucky River Foothills and sits on the EKU Campus.  The first of it's kind to be housed directly on a college campus. Provides shelter for those in need of temporary housing; it is open 7 days a week.  The shelter opens at 6 p.m. and closes at 7 a.m.  Each guest receives a care package containing soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and a toothbrush, along with bedding a wash cloth, and a towel.  An evening meal is served at 7 pm and breakfast at 6:30 a.m.
